Gun show bans vendor for racist targets (VIDEO)

A vendor was asked to pack up and leave a South Dakota gun show over the weekend for selling racist targets that included the silhouette of a person with the words “Official Runnin’ N – – – – – Target” at the top.

The incident occurred at this weekend’s Collector’s Classic Gun Show held in Sioux Falls and was triggered when a cameraman from local news station KSFY began questioning the vendor.

“Why are those on there?” the cameraman can be heard off camera asking the vendor.

“Why aren’t they? They’re just targets,” the vendor said.

“Aren’t they offensive in nature?” asked the cameraman.

“To who? Are you n – – – – ? You know there are some black people and then there’s some n – – – – – ,” the vendor said. “I sold 500 of them this weekend, so what difference does it make?”

Gun show administrators were appalled at the blatant offensiveness of the vendor.

“I take pride in the work I do and the quality of the show that I put out and I’m very disappointed, disgusted to see what was on that table,” show manager Bob Campbell told KSFY.

The gun show representatives told reporters they check the products that make it to the floor, but it’s hard to monitor every product, KSFY reported.

“I was not aware that it was there or it would have been gone,” Campbell said.

The vendor has been banned from future Dakota Territory gun shows.

“You might not want to put that on TV,” the vendor can he heard off camera referencing the target.
