Marine commandos serve up unarmed tactics with baseball bat chaser (VIDEO)

In a recent public demonstration of their unarmed combative techniques a group of British Royal Marines gave a lesson in ”You Wot Mate.”

The Corps of Royal Marines (RM) is Britain’s amphibious light infantry and, like our own Marines, are renowned for their service and fighting record. Dating back to 1664, these green beret-wearing sea soldiers are small in number (just 7,500 all told ) but large in stature.

During the dark days of World War II, they earned their commando title by training hard to sneak up on unsuspecting German sentries and, using their now-famous Fairbairn-Sykes knives, take em out– and we don’t mean for a nice spot of tea.

It looks like many of the same tactics were on display at this recent public demonstration in London’s Wellington Station to benefit a veteran’s association. They did, however, bring out the baseball bat for some tenderizing of the old bread basket.
