Dublin shooting

At least half a dozen men opened fire inside Dublin’s Regency Hotel Friday afternoon during a weigh-in for the “Clash of the Clans” boxing match, and the entire thing was captured on camera.

David Byrne, 33, died as a result of injuries he sustained during the shooting, and two others were injured.

Police said they are in the process of trying to identify the gunmen.

Diarmuid Martin, the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, called the shooting “despicable,” while Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny referred to it as “a new low”.
