CCI Ammunition launches two new rimfire loads for 2018, introducing the Mini-Mag 22 LR 40-grain Segmented Hollow Point and the 17 HMR 17-grain VNT Tipped.

The new 22 LR Mini-Mag joins the already successful Mini-Mag lineup, offering high velocities, flat trajectories and reliability, according to CCI. The new load combines the Mini-Mag’s features with the 40-grain bullet designed to split into equal parts on impact. The company says this three-part split equates to three wound channels which down small game and varmints. The loads also uses the company’s specialized priming and powders to deliver clean and consistent ignition.

CCI’s 17 HMR VNT pairs a 17-grain Speer bullet with a thin jacket and polymer tip — the collection of which delivers long range accuracy, flatter trajectories and “explosive terminal performance on impact.”

“Shooters can now devastate varmints or drill targets with these new products,” Brian Anderson, Senior Marketing Manager for CCI, said in a press release. “We know our customers will be pleased with both options.”

Mini-Mag 22 LR is available in 100-count packs for under $10 while 17 HMR VNT comes in 50-count packs for $17.96 with both appearing on dealer shelves soon.
