A new spotting scope bench mount is on its way to shooting bench fans, as F.W. Arms announced its latest product — the Best Bench Mount.

The Best Bench Mount attaches to shooting benches via a heavy-duty clamp that accommodates benches measuring 3/4-inches to 7 1/2-inches in thickness. The Best Bench Mount, once secured, is capable of adjusting locking in field-of-view of targets. The scope mounting plate, which houses the spotting scope, rests 4 inches above the bench but is able to raise to a maximum height of 13-inches.

In addition the Best Bench Mount allows for a vertical tilt of the scope mounting plate due to a threaded tilt adjustment knob. This allows the Best Bench Mount to adjust for a total of 1,600 minutes of elevation adjustment. Machined from 304 stainless steel, brass alloy and hard-coat anodized aircraft grade aluminum, the Best Bench Mount can stand up to any weather condition.

“Together with its quick adjust heavy-duty clamp, precision adjustable spotting scope plate and near crowbar durability F.W. Arms’ Best Bench Mount presents a real bargain to the shooter who appreciates robust and reliable precision shooting gear,” F.W. Arms said in a statement.

Consumers have the option of a mast extension which can be threaded in the main mast upping the height to 18-inches for offhand shooting and using a shooting bench as spotting scope support.

The Best Bench Mount retails for $249 while the optional mast extension is priced at $32.
